How to Update Your App

If you’ve not yet installed the new version of the Hema 4WD Map update, you can do so by going to the App Store and searching for the 4WD Maps App and hitting the download icon.  

Addition of State Map and Regional Map Packages as an Optional Download

Due to the ongoing popularity of the state maps from the previous version, the old state maps are now being offered as an optional download for the 4WD Maps App (ios) (Update May 2019). 

Once you’ve installed the latest version of the app and downloaded the map package (as instructed below), you’ll be able to select the state maps from the map list page.

To access these maps within the new app, simply follow the steps below.

Step 1: 

Ensure you’ve installed the latest version of the 4WD Maps App. Then simply open this page on your ios device and click the links below, your device will prompt you to install the maps as shown in Step 2.

• Regional Map Package

• State Map Package

 Note: As these maps are retired, no further updates will be applied to the set of maps under the Hema-Old-Edition map category.

Step 2:

• Upon clicking either of the above links, your device will display the following prompt:

• Tap the ‘Open’ button. The map package will then begin to download as shown below:

Step 3:

Once the map package had downloaded, tap the map list icon on your app.

Step 4:

You will then see your State Map and Regional Maps in your maps list page under a new map category called Hema-Old-Edition.

To view all your maps on the device, tap Maps Everywhere.

Note:

• No further updates will be applied to the state and regional maps under the Hema-Old-Edition map category

• The optional download of the old state maps does not include the old 1:1M map and is replaced with the 1:1M scale Hema Explorer Map

• You will only have access to these downloadable package links if you’ve downloaded the latest version of the Hema 4WD Maps App (ios)

• The State Maps and Regional maps are not yet available on Android version of the 4WD Maps App
